⚡ Installation Instructions (with Icons)
1️⃣ Dry‑fit the patch
Make sure the repair patch fits flush to the edge of the kickpanel before gluing.
2️⃣ 🧹 Clean the surfaces
Remove oils using brake cleaner or IPA so the glue bonds properly.
3️⃣ 🪵 Sand both glue surfaces
Lightly sand the kickpanel and the patch in the bonding area using 80–240 grit sandpaper.
4️⃣ 🔩 Apply plastic‑rated adhesive
Use glue designed for plastic that can bridge small gaps.
5️⃣ 🤜 Clamp and cure
Press the patch firmly into place and clamp it until the glue fully hardens.
Depending on the adhesive, curing may take up to a couple of days.
6️⃣ ✔️ Reinstall the kickpanel
Once cured, reinstall the panel using the restored mounting tab.
